Milk thistle

Milk thistle (scientific name Silybum marianum) is a plant from the aster family. The active extract of milk thistle believed to be responsible for the herb's medicinal qualities is silymarin, found in the fruit.6 Milk thistle has been used in Europe as a treatment for liver disease and jaundice since the 16th century.
Scientific Research Findings: Selected CAM Treatments for Hepatitis C
The authors of a 2003 systematic review of medicinal herbs for hepatitis C concluded that there is not enough evidence to support using herbs to treat the disease. This team identified 13 clinical trials that were of sufficient quality for them to analyze. Compared to placebo,h they found that none of the herbs tested showed effects on liver enzymes or reduced the amount of HCV in the bloodstream, except for milk thistle, which did show a significant reduction of liver enzymes in one trial.3
This section describes six CAM therapies that people have used to treat hepatitis C.

Subject: frankin seeds.........

To whom it may concern,
I like my whole foods left alone and I was born and
raised in this country and have a human right to not
only know what I am eating but I have a right to eat
food the way God intended not the government. If you
have children and you dont want to fight for my
rights, fight for theirs, they deserve it!!
I have Hep. C and I was given 1 year left to live in
1991. For the first time in my life (after I went
through all of the medical treatment and they sent me
home to wait for a new liver from the liver list) I
prepared to die. A friend had been bugging me to see a
woman that they knew and I finally listened. She put
me on specific organic food and literally brought my
liver back to health.
My specialist for my liver was amazed and told me to
go home and keep doing what I had been doing.
The normal liver count is 15-57. Anything in that
range is normal. 250 is extremly high. Mine was 1,138.
I hope that no one in your family gets cacer or any
other kind of disease but if they do remember as long
as we have organic seeds and plants there is no such
thing as an incureable disease. Milk thistle seeds are
in part what saved my life. Not irrateiated seeds,
organic milk thistle seeds!!
Please at least label these if you are not going to
help us fight this whole system. My family and friends
depend upon your decisions.
Thankyou sincerly,
Lonnie
